Realizing that its development team lacked the abilities to build out its complex system, Drivelocker brought on Freshout to complete development of the e-commerce system while accounting for security, scalability, and feature enhancements after launch. To properly assess the state of the project and determine the remaining scope of work, Freshout conducted a code audit which revealed a number of areas in the application that had been terribly neglected and, worse, improperly written in some cases.
“The finished product included a robust user management portal..."
Based on our assessment, we then drafted updated planning documentation outlining all of the remaining work to be completed and a clear path to launch. We went to work repairing the areas of the application that were problematic, and building out the features that were left. Quality assurance testing was very important throughout this project to uncover bugs related to the previously written code. The finished product included a robust user management portal which allowed users to upgrade or downgrade their plans based on the amount of storage space used, upload and download large files, organize and search files and folders, and share files with other users. We also integrated customer support features so that Drivelocker's administrators could easily track customer inquiries and respond to concerns quickly.
In the end, we hit the deadline for launch and have worked with Drivelocker since then to further optimize the service.
Note: Drivelocker's in-house team has assumed all development and design modifications since the initial launch.
